What should I do if I lose my passport?

4 | Bring your new passport and “Passport Loss Certificate” to the police station in your jurisdiction to register for temporary residence. | Register immediately |
5 | Apply for a new visa or residence permit at the local municipal entry and exit administration. | The legal processing time is 20 working days, while the promised processing time is 1-3 working days. |

What materials are required for passport reissue?
Materials required can be seen on the official website of Shenzhen Municipal PSB or “深圳公安(Shenzhen Public Security)” WeChat official account.
Approach (1): Enter the official website of Shenzhen Municipal PSB (http://ga.sz.gov.cn/), select “FOREIGNER”-“Application for Reporting Loss of Passport.”
Approach 2: Enter “深圳公安(Shenzhen Public Security)” WeChat official account, select “政務(wù)服務(wù)(Administrative Service)”-“出入境業(yè)務(wù)(Exit-Entry Service)”-“外國人護(hù)照?qǐng)?bào)失證明(Application for Reporting Loss of Passport).
