By the end of November 2024, Luohu district has reached impressive milestones in expanding its electric vehicle (EV) charging network, operating approximately 25,000 charging facilities. These include 80 ultra-fast charging stations, 10 Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G) stations, and four integrated PV power generation-storage ultra-fast charging stations. Moreover, 14 additional ultra-fast charging stations are under construction, with 55 more planned. By the end of 2024, the district aims to achieve full coverage of ultra-fast charging stations within a 500-meter radius in urban areas.
Located in key areas such as parks, commercial zones, bus stations, and cultural or sports venues, these stations include both slow and fast charging points. This integration promotes a comprehensive ecosystem leveraging advanced technologies in “vehicle, energy, road, and cloud.”
The district has also pioneered a “charging-service integration” model, combining charging facilities with leisure and entertainment services in hubs like shopping centers and parks. These stations operate 24/7, offering a convenient and sustainable environment for EV users while enriching the community experience.
Looking ahead, Luohu plans to adopt cutting-edge charging technologies to enhance service efficiency and reliability, striving to create a seamless charging network and establish a robust charging-service ecosystem.
