City reports one imported confirmed COVID-19 case
On Jan. 30, Shenzhen reported one imported confirmed case and two imported asymptomatic cases of COVID-19.
The confirmed case, a male of Chinese nationality, came to Shenzhen from Mozambique. He was quarantined upon entry and was later sent to the emergency ward of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. He was diagnosed as a confirmed case of COVID-19 (normal type) based on consultations by a panel of medical experts that factored in hisepidemiological investigations, clinical symptoms and CT screening results. Currently, the patient is in stable condition.
The asymptomatic cases, two males of Chinese nationality, came to Shenzhen from Russia and Mozambique respectively. They were quarantined upon entry and were later sent to the emergency wards of the Third People’s Hospital of Shenzhen for treatment. Currently, both of them are in stable condition.
