The Luohu district government and China Gas Shareholding signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Jan. 15.
Luohu Party chief Luo Yude and China Gas President and Board Chairman Liu Minghui had in-depth exchanges on how the two sides would seek to strengthen their strategic collaboration.
Liu Zhiyong, Luohu district mayor, and other senior Luohu officials took part in the signing ceremony.
According to the agreement, the two sides will closely cooperate giving full play to their respective strengths, sharing’ resources, complementing each other's advantages, and cooperating in many fields, such as logistics, e-commerce, green energy and smart city construction, so as to form a sustainable strategic partnership and realize win-win development.
On behalf of Luohu, Luo Yude expressed his appreciation to the investment by China Gas.
Luo said the district sought to form a new development paradigm with the purpose of building an all-embracing hub of the Greater Bay Area, and he hoped the two sides could use their cooperation agreement as an opportunity to continuously step up their cooperation, deepen and extend their partnership and strive for a win-win future.
He said Luohu would continue to offer its services, create a first-class business environment and seek common development with China Gas.
Liu said Luohu was showing strong economic resilience, and the company was honored to take part in its quality development.
The strategic cooperation agreement marked a further consolidation of the company's confidence and resolve to take root in Luohu, grow together with it, and realize common development with the district.
In the future, China Gas would seize the opportunity in various industrial fields, accelerating its development pace, and further cultivating stronger and lasting competitiveness.
He hoped the two sides could strengthen their exchanges, and dovetail their related work, and carry out their cooperation projects as soon as possible, so that the company could make its due contribution to Luohu's cause of building an all-embracing hub of the Greater Bay Area at an early date.
China Gas is now one of the largest cross-regional energy supplier and service providers in China. It operates more than 1,000 companies in 29 provincial-level regions, and serves more than 36 million homes and over 300,000 businesses and public clients. Its pipe network links more than 150 million people.
In 2019, China Gas established its global headquarters in the Hongling emerging financial industrial belt of Luohu.
