Luohu recognized nationwide for public property reform
Shenzhen's Luohu district has earned national recognition for its innovative public property reform efforts. The district’s initiative, "Systematic Promotion of State-Owned Public Property Intensive Utilization," was selected as one of the top 100 exemplary cases of deepening reform comprehensively at the local level in 2024. This marks the fourth consecutive year that Luohu has been included in the prestigious list, making it the only district in Shenzhen to achieve such consistency.
In addition to this recognition, Luohu’s reform case was honored as one of the 30 outstanding county-level reform cases nationwide, with the district being one of just three in Guangdong province to receive this distinction.
The reform focuses on optimizing the use of state-owned public properties, aiming to boost efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs. By 2025, Luohu expects to save up to 70 million yuan in fiscal expenditures, with a 30 million yuan reduction in annual operating costs alone.
Looking ahead, Luohu plans to continue improving the efficiency of public property use, improving the sense of gain, happiness and security of the people.
