Luohu food carnival kicks off
From Oct. 11 to 13, 2024, Luohu district will host a food carnival featuring culinary treasures from Shenzhen, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao. Food enthusiasts can indulge in a wide array of delights, from local Shenzhen specialties and traditional Hong Kong dim sum to authentic Taiwanese street snacks and signature Macao dishes.
Beyond sampling the diverse culinary offerings, visitors will have the unique chance to watch renowned chefs from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area prepare dishes live. This blend of culinary craftsmanship and visual artistry will deliver an unforgettable sensory experience.
Adding to the excitement is the "Food Passport," where participants can collect stamps by completing fun tasks at various food stalls. Gather enough stamps, and you'll be rewarded with special gifts at the prize booth.
In celebration of the Chongyang Festival, also known as the Double Ninth Festival, the carnival will host live tea ceremonies, led by skilled tea masters. Visitors can enjoy traditional tea and Chongyang cakes as part of the festivities.
For those seeking more interactive entertainment, the carnival will feature a variety of games and activities, including pickleball and basketball shooting machines, ensuring a fun-filled and memorable experience for all.
