On Aug. 28, a 17-member delegation from the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party visited Yucun community in Nanhu sub-district, Luohu district, to gain insights into the community's exemplary practices in community-level Party building and community services.
The delegation toured the Yumin Village History Museum, where they were impressed by the exhibits and photographs highlighting the village's achievements in economic development and grassroots management since the beginning of the reform and opening up. They also admired the villagers' spirit of perseverance and innovation. At Yucun community’s elderly center, the delegation experienced the community’s care and respect for the elderly and even participated in activities like table tennis with local residents.
Juan Lobato, the delegation’s head, praised the Yucun Community’s Party-Masses Service Center, noting that it offers comprehensive facilities and a multifunctional platform for learning, communication, and entertainment. This, he said, has greatly contributed to community harmony and prosperity. "The rapid development and transformation of Yucun community in such a short period is truly remarkable.
