Luohu takes multiple measures to elevate gold and jewelry industry
At the launch ceremony of the "Oriental Beauty — Gold and Jewelry Innovation Design Competition" on Aug. 13, nearly 150 representatives from the domestic and international gold and jewelry industries, along with leaders from the design, cultural, and arts sectors, came together. This competition is a significant initiative by Luohu District to drive industrial transformation, upgrading, and the cultivation of new, high-quality productivity.
Earlier, Luohu introduced an action plan and several measures to promote the high-quality development of its gold and jewelry industry. These initiatives aim to transform the Shuibei Gold and Jewelry Industrial Cluster from a traditional processing and manufacturing base into a modern, high-end industrial hub.
The Shuibei Gold and Jewelry Industrial Cluster, with around 7,000 market entities, accounts for approximately 50% of the domestic wholesale market's gold and jewelry transaction volume.
In recent years, Luohu has vigorously developed the livestreaming e-commerce economy, implementing strategies such as building a headquarters cluster for livestreaming e-commerce, creating a talent hub, and fostering a high-quality livestreaming e-commerce ecosystem.
Additionally, Luohu has enacted special laws and regulations to strengthen intellectual property protection, ensuring that enterprises' innovative achievements and high-value-added products remain competitive. The district has also consistently promoted the internationally renowned Shuibei brand through consumer festivals, new product launches, and international jewelry festivals.
To offer visitors a jewelry experience that blends shopping, entertainment, and culture, the "Brilliant Shuibei — Gold and Jewelry Carnival" was launched. This carnival features a rich array of cultural activities, allowing consumers to appreciate the beauty of jewelry while enjoying exclusive shopping discounts.
