Tree art brightens Tianbei community in Luohu
In Tianbei community of Sungang sub-district, Luohu District, tree-lined streets are brought to life with images of various charming animals. These lifelike, colorful, and imaginative tree paintings have become a unique and delightful attraction, offering passersby a visual treat and creating a new cultural hotspot for residents.
These artworks are the creation of tree artist Li Siwei, who contributed to the Tianbei Child-Friendly Community Beautification Project in 2020.
"Inspiration comes from animals, fairy tales, and the beautiful moments of daily life. The graffiti adds vibrancy to the streets, and I hope it brings a bit of unexpected joy and beauty to people in their busy urban lives," Li said.
He also shared that some residents, driven by curiosity, stop to watch and offer encouragement and suggestions, which he finds truly heartwarming. "Sometimes, parents and children want to join in, so I provide them with brushes and paint, allowing them to express themselves freely. I then refine their ideas," he added.
"Seeing these tree paintings on my way home from work each day feels like discovering a little piece of happiness in life," remarked a local resident.
