Traditional black and white photography exhibition held in Luohu
From Aug. 6 to 18, the Luohu Art Museum will present the exhibition titled "Original Appearance & Non Surface: Traditional Black and White Photography Exhibition." This annual exhibition, now in its sixth consecutive year at the museum, features works documenting the natural landscapes, cultural history, and architectural art. These photographs also express the photographers' inner emotions and perspectives.
This year's exhibition offers a curated selection of outstanding black-and-white photography, inviting the audience to rediscover the beauty of classical photography. The exhibition not only provides an opportunity for visitors to closely engage with this traditional art form but also plays a crucial role in preserving and advancing the legacy of black-and-white photography.
Looking to the future, the hope is that more young photographers will cultivate a deep appreciation for traditional photography, infusing new energy into its evolution. Through their lenses, they are expected to capture the world’s truths and beauties, and convey the profound emotions and human experiences through the distinctive allure of black-and-white imagery.
