Luohu launches free vocational skills training
On July 14, 2024, Luohu District launched free vocational skills training courses "Cantonese Chef," "Jewelry Design," and "Supply Chain Manager", with over 140 participants in total.
The "Cantonese Chef" training included seven courses with a variety of engaging content. At the Shenzhen Jubang Catering Service Vocational Skills Training Center, two provincial four-star Cantonese master chefs, Chef Chen and Chef Gao, taught participants how to make Cantonese dim sum, explaining every step and detail. The participants were highly focused and eager to learn, hoping to acquire more cooking techniques and knowledge through systematic courses and practical operations.
The "Jewelry Design" training course combined basic knowledge of jewelry design and appraisal to enhance vocational skills. One of the participants, Ma, said, "I am an aspiring jewelry industry professional. This training not only improves my vocational skills but also allows me to exchange ideas with participants from various industries and positions. I am very grateful to the Luohu District Human Resources Bureau for providing this platform."
In the "Supply Chain Manager" training course, participant Zhang reflected on the importance and complexity of supply chain management. From order processing to supplier management, and from logistics to inventory control, each step requires precise operation and close coordination, demanding a solid knowledge base, adaptability, and rigorous logical thinking.
As of July, the Luohu District has conducted six sessions of free vocational skills training, training a total of 247 participants. This initiative, organized by the Luohu District Human Resources Bureau, has been warmly received by local residents since its inception. The training classes, aimed at promoting employment, including on-site teaching, group discussions, theoretical practice, and assessments, providing participants with a practical learning environment. This training aims to enhance the vocational skills of participants, supporting stable employment, talent development, and community welfare in Luohu.
