Luohu launches public health community program
On June 28, the launch ceremony of the "Embrace Your Health" community wellness program was held at the Amway Experience Center in Shenzhen's Luohu District, marking the district's first public welfare health program.
The project plans to conduct 18 activities, serving over 1,000 people in Luohu District's party and community activity centers. The activities include traditional Chinese medicine, emotional health, rhythmic stress relief, and health management, promoting social concern for women's health and bringing health science education to thousands of households.
The launch event featured an interactive space comprising five areas: Knowledge Quiz Zone, Health Measurement Zone, Charades Zone, Ring Toss Zone, and Hula Hoop Zone. Through health science lectures and engaging games, the event aimed to disseminate scientific health knowledge, promote healthy living concepts, and encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyles, contributing to the national health initiative.
"On the journey to a Healthy China, we act together, leaving no one behind," said Zhu Ligu, Director of the Luohu District Health and Wellness Bureau. Zhu said that the program not only imparts knowledge but also engages participants in hands-on learning, fostering development in body, mind, and spirit.
The event was guided by the Shenzhen Luohu District Women's Federation and the Shenzhen Luohu District Health and Wellness Bureau, hosted by Amway (China) Daily Necessities Co., Ltd. Shenzhen Branch, and organized by the Yimi Yangguang Public Welfare Development Center of Luohu District, Shenzhen.
