Shenzhen holds press conference on Luohu's high-quality development
The fifth press conference in the series "Promoting High-Quality Development" organized by the Information Office of the Shenzhen Municipal Government was held in Luohu district on May 11.
Zuo Jinping, deputy secretary of the CPC Luohu District Committee and district mayor of the Luohu District People's Government , presented an overview of the district's efforts to promote high-quality development. He, along with Guo Guilin, chief of Science, Technology, Industry and Information Technology Bureau (Rural Revitalization and Cooperation Bureau), and Wang Hongxian, deputy chief of Luohu Commerce Bureau, responded to questions from the press on Luohu's strategies for fostering growth in the service industry, development of concentrated and contiguous areas , the establishment of five consumption zones, and the cultivation of new quality productive forces tailored to local conditions.
In 2023, Luohu's GDP reached 280.8 billion yuan, achieving a growth rate of 7.2%, and the district's investment promotion, spatial expansion, and industrial upgrading efforts have been particularly effective in supporting this growth, revealed by Zuo Jinping during the press conference.
