Construction of Luohu Library and Youth Activity Center sees significant progress
The construction of the Luohu District Library and Youth Activity Center project has seen significant progress. The main structure of the Luohu District Library has been completed, while the Luohu District Youth Activity Center has reached the 15th floor, with plans for full completion by the end of this month.
The "One Library, One Center" project in Luohu spans approximately 77,000 square meters, comprising a 21-story library, a 17-story youth activity center, and supporting facilities. It is a pivotal project for livelihood and culture in Luohu, enhancing public cultural amenities and meeting the cultural needs of residents.
The Luohu District Library will offer various reading areas and features, including digital experiences, literature focusing on the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, cultural and tourism materials, and audio-visual rooms. The Luohu District Youth Activity Center will provide diverse open spaces and activity rooms catering to the varied needs of young people.
The design of the new buildings integrates architecture with nature, reflecting Luohu's distinctive environment characterized by mountains, water bodies, and urban landscapes.
