Luohu drives development of strategic emerging industries
Luohu has recently entered into a letter of intent regarding scientific and technological funding to foster new quality productive forces, partnering with two centrally-administered state-owned companies—China General Nuclear Capital Holding Co., Ltd. and Hualong Nuclear Power Technology Co., Ltd.
Under this agreement, these companies will establish a scientific and technological fund aimed at nurturing new quality productive forces within Luohu. Leveraging the industrial chains of enterprises, this initiative seeks to attract investments and encourage high-quality programs to establish a presence in Luohu. These endeavors will not only foster the growth of nuclear power enterprises but also enhance the industrial landscape of Luohu, thereby contributing to the overall development of China's nuclear power industry.
The signing of this letter of intent marks a significant step forward in enhancing and upgrading Luohu's industrial structure. It will facilitate the expansion and modernization of industrial chains, fostering the growth of strategic emerging industrial clusters.
In 2024, Luohu is committed to bolstering its scientific and technological industries, with a specific focus on modern industrial systems such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud computing, and big data.
Efforts will be concentrated in three key industries—software information technology, modern fashion, and healthcare—with the aim of cultivating new quality productive forces.
Furthermore, Luohu plans to revitalize five productive service industries: financial services, information technology services, logistics and foreign trade services, human resources services, and management consulting and legal services. Additionally, it aims to rejuvenate two life service industries: tourism services and healthcare services. These sectors will be revitalized through the integration of new technologies, business models, and approaches, with the goal of elevating them to a more sophisticated, concentrated, and international standard.
