Luohu upgrades e-CNY wallet card services
Recently, Luohu improves digital RMB services by introducing self-service wallet card issuance devices, allowing foreigners and Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan residents to apply for digital RMB wallet cards within three minutes.
A total of more than 100,000 cards will be issued from the machines, building a consumption environment suitable for e-CNY, so that more foreigners can enjoy convenient e-CNY payment.
The digital RMB cards supports overseas bank cards such as Visa and Master. In addition to using foreign currency cash for self-service recharging and supporting bank card recharging for multifunctional digital RMB hard wallet cards, it also supports recharging with foreign currency cash. The initial batch of foreign currency cash recharges supports twelve currencies: US Dollar, Euro, Hong Kong Dollar, Japanese Yen, British Pound, South Korean Won, Singapore Dollar, Philippine Peso, Thai Baht, Indonesian Rupiah, and New Taiwan Dollar, with a total of 67 denomination versions. The accepted minimum denomination is 1 US Dollar, and the maximum denomination is 100,000 Indonesian Rupiah. Subsequent coverage will include more foreign currency types from additional countries and regions.
