Luohu's congress meeting concluded with 2024 vision
The fourth session of the Eighth Luohu District People's Congress concluded on Jan. 24.
The conference approved a set of resolutions including the Luohu government work report, Luohu's 2023 report and 2024 vision on economic and social development and budget execution.
Commending the district government's past year's efforts, the meeting endorsed the proposed major tasks for 2024, urging the establishment of the "Three Strengths, Three Zones" in advancing China's path towards modernization.
During the meeting, ten key projects, including initiatives for quality education, transportation optimization, improved elderly care, and health services, were highlighted for prime agendas monitoring by Luohu People's Congress representatives in 2024.
Zuo Jinping, elected as the role of Luohu District Mayor at the meeting, expressed the responsibility to serve the people and contribute to Luohu's development. He outlined commitments to undertake missions, address industrial challenges, and prioritize the well-being of the people, emphasizing legal administration and transparent government-business relations.
Fan Defan, secretary of the CPC Luohu district Committee, commended the People's Congress and its Standing Committee's work, urging continued political determination and enhanced supervision quality for substantial contributions to Shenzhen's socialist demonstration zone and Guangdong's pioneer in China's path towards modernization.
