GBA International Drone Racing Invitational concluded
On Dec. 24, 2023, the Greater Bay Area International Drone Racing Invitational concluded successfully at Xiantong Sports Park in Luohu district. The competition featured the racing category of multi-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles (F9U), attracting 146 drone enthusiasts and professional pilots from across China, including Beijing, Zhejiang, Hunan, and Hong Kong.
Participants ranged from beginners, including a 7-year-old with just six months of experience, to seasoned professionals representing the country in international competitions. The event also featured professional pilots with extensive experience in various international and domestic competitions, collectively showcasing the allure of drone racing.
After two days of intense competition, participants competed for gold and silver in four categories, vying for a total of 24 awards.
