Luohu government website won its eighth consecutive championship in performance evaluation
On Dec. 20th, the 2023 Digital Government Evaluation Conference and the 22nd Government Website Performance Evaluation Conference, hosted by China Software Testing Center, took place in Beijing. The official website of the Luohu District People's Government was once again recognized as the top performer in the evaluation of Chinese government websites at the district and county level.
The performance evaluation incorporated various methods, including systematic monitoring, manual sampling, expert scoring, and online public assessment. It assessed seven key indicators, namely the consolidation of government website resources, data utilization, resource integration, information dissemination, responsiveness to public inquiries, security, operation and maintenance support, and outstanding innovative cases. Out of 533 district and county-level units evaluated nationwide, Luohu secured the top position with an impressive score of 93.4 points out of 100.
First, a new policy document repository has been launched on the website, consolidating around 25,000 policy documents from the national, provincial, municipal, and district levels in Shenzhen.
Second, a big data analytics platform has been established to offer data support for governmental decision-making.
Third, the intelligent search system of the website has undergone iterative upgrades, improving functions such as automatic correction of misspelled words and providing keyword recommendations.
Fourth, an innovative scenario-based service has been introduced to streamline the efficiency of handling specific tasks.
Fifth, efforts have been made to enhance government-citizen interaction, with a total of 63 government open day events and 75 rounds of public opinion solicitation surveys conducted throughout the year. Additionally, 28 "Luohu Releases" events have been regularly held.
Moving forward, prioritizing people's needs, Luohu will strive to construct a more precise, detailed, and empathetic government website to provide a one-stop, targeted, and intelligent government portal.
