Luohu boosts Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development
The Luohu District Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) held a thematic meeting on the deep, integrated development of Shenzhen and Hong Kong. The meeting saw the release of a general report and six sub-reports on promoting the two cities’ integrated growth.
The reports summarize the research results of industrial integration, talent exchange, education cooperation, health services, ecological protection, and transportation connectivity between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. Based on the research outcomes, the reports put forward 29 suggestions from four aspects to accelerate the building of Luohu into a development zone for Shenzhen-Hong Kong modern business and trade upgrading.
The reports symbolize Luohu’s efforts to contribute to the development of Hong Kong’s Northern Metropolis. The Northern Metropolis will be divided into four sections, and the section of port trade and industrial zone is located in Luohu.
