5th IWA Resource Recovery Conference to open in Luohu
The 5th International Water Association (IWA) Resource Recovery Conference will be held from Nov. 1 to 3 in Shenzhen’s Luohu District.
Known as the “Olympic Games” of the water industry, the Resource Recovery Conference is a signature biennial event with greater synergy between industry, academia, and research under the IWA. This year’s meeting looks to bring together the world’s top experts in academia, industry, and engineering to share innovative ideas and technological practices in recycling resources, building waste-free cities, and fostering a zero-pollution planet.
Themed “Resource Recovery – From Concept to Reality,” the conference will consist of 10 forums and four workshops, exploring such topics as innovative technology in water reuse, nutrients and inorganics recovery, and relevant technology applications and case studies.
Luohu will launch two special activities then, discussing the development direction and innovation path of energy-saving and low-carbon technologies for buildings, as well as organizing visits to typical low-carbon projects in the district.
