Shenzhen Diamond Goods Fair unveiled in Luohu
The inaugural Shenzhen Diamond Goods Fair was held in Luohu on Oct. 17. The event was jointly organized by the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE) and SDE Shenzhen Service Co., Ltd., demonstrating the traditional advantages of Luohu’s gold and jewelry industries.
Since 2020, Luohu has deepened cooperation with the SDE. The two sides have innovated diamond trading mechanisms, conducted cross-provincial bonded reforms, and promoted the construction of the SDE Shenzhen service platform. This platform will help leverage the SDE's role as the only national diamond general trade import and export trading platform, strengthen extended services to the diamond and jewelry industry in Shenzhen, and meet the professional needs of diamond and jewelry enterprises and merchants.
Xiao Jiarui, deputy head of Luohu District, noted that the fair will further enhance the supply efficiency of diamond raw materials and accurately align industry information. He added that the fair can also provide more cooperation opportunities for member enterprises and diamond and jewelry companies, which is vital to enhancing the development of the gold and jewelry industry in Luohu and Shenzhen.
