Luohu raises public awareness of household garbage sorting
The Luohu Urban Administration and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau recently organized various kinds of publicity activities to raise the residents’ awareness of household garbage sorting.
The 10 sub-district offices of Luohu have respectively organized primary and secondary school students and their parents, as well as community volunteers, to visit a recycling education center to learn about waste sorting.
The activity helped participants deepen their understanding of the importance of garbage classification and learn about classification methods, resource recycling, and waste disposal, among others.
The 10 sub-district offices also organized community officials to guide local residents to sort their household garbage.
Posters have been put up on walls of shopping malls and other buildings as well to raise people’s awareness of household garbage sorting.
