Luohu’s appeal to talent highlighted at international talent conference
Luohu attracted wide attention at the 21st Conference on International Exchange of Professionals, which was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on April 15 and 16.
The event was held to aid the formation of an international platform to introduce talents from around the world to Shenzhen.
During the event, Luohu, through its exhibition area spanning 216 square meters, showcased its ambition to develop into an all-embracing hub of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It also displayed its latest progress in improving business and living environments and updating its talent policies and services.
Luohu’s image as a land for dream chasers was successfully portrayed via the exhibition, providing a place where the local government highlighted its efforts in ecological preservation and public service development.
The district’s exhibition consisted of four parts: a brief introduction of Luohu as a forerunner in Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development; job opportunities in Luohu; the thoughtful supporting policies for talents and professionals; and the area’s ideal living environment featuring high-quality education, cultural and healthcare services, presenting Luohu as a magnet for talent, capital and companies.
Many enterprises taking part in the event attributed their success in Luohu to the district’s strong support, allowing them to seek talent from across the country not only by rolling out supporting policies that were faithfully carried out but also by directly organizing campus job fairs where companies could look for college graduates in prestigious universities.
Last year, Luohu unveiled its 14th five-year plan for talent development and launched a series of talent projects to attract talent and provide targeted services for them.
