Education quality markedly enhanced through reform
A short-video on Luohu’s high-quality education development was released recently, using Cuiyuan Middle School as an example.
Founded 59 years ago, Cuiyuan Middle School customizes its optional courses to the needs of individual students. On Tuesday and Friday afternoons, students can attend their preferred courses, such as math competition and chemistry competition classes.
The school also attaches importance to moral education to ensure that students cultivate good worldview, outlook on life, and values, said Guo Yuzhu, head of Cuizhu Education Group.
That’s the epitome of Luohu’s efforts to improve the quality of education. The district authorities published a three-year action plan in 2021 outlining measures that it would take for that purpose.
We aim to provide high-quality education services to cultivate talent and gain residents’ recognition, said Yin Gang, head of Luohu Education Bureau.
The district government regards quality education as part of Luohu’s core competitiveness to boost its socioeconomic development and vows to continuously deepen education reform to meet the people’s needs.
