Luohu dedicated to pursuit of high-quality development
Luohu has recently earmarked the 96,000-square-meter B1 plot near the Luohu Port for the construction of an industrial park, which will be privy to Hong Kong’s taxation policies, in a bid to dock with the special administrative region’s development of its northern area.
This is the district’s latest move to advance its high-quality development, with Luohu aiming to build itself into a core international consumption center. In doing so, it hopes to establish a world-leading trend as well as become a pioneer of Shenzhen-Hong Kong integrated development with global resource allocating ability and a demonstration area for the modern service industry, attracting international markets.
At present, the entire district is making efforts to strive to transform this vision from a blueprint to a reality, step by step.
Many enterprises and associations from Hong Kong have signed cooperation agreements or memorandums with Luohu so far this year. They speak highly of the district’s strengths in finance, industry, logistics, business environment, and government services.
The Luohu district government said that it would focus on promoting innovation, upgrading industries, and enhancing competitiveness during the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period.
