Holiday consumption increases in Shenzhen
Shenzhen saw a remarkable surge in tourism, leisure, and cultural consumption during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday between June 22 and 24.
Statistics show that during the three-day holiday, the city saw a total of 3.38 million tourist trips, and its tourism revenue hit 1.79 billion yuan ($249.3 million), a year-on-year increase of 34.92% and 26.68%, respectively, also marking a five-year high.
Key scenic spots saw a total of 715,600 tourist trips over the three days, and their overall takings were 39.74 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.20% and 11.49%, respectively.
