Shenzhen to hold carbon expo with focus on emissions reduction

China (Shenzhen) Carbon Neutrality and Industry International Expo will be held in Shenzhen from Dec 8-10, according to the Shenzhen government.

This will be the first professional expo on attaining peak carbon emissions and neutrality in the country, the city government said.

The expo aims to present key factors on the path to carbon peak emissions and carbon neutrality, and explore a model for "double carbon" industry development that fits Shenzhen’s actual conditions so as to enhance the city’s influence in the realm.
