Shenzhen releases plan for comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network
Shenzhen has unveiled the Shenzhen Comprehensive Three-Dimensional Transportation Network Plan (2024-2035), outlining a vision to build a convenient, efficient, intelligent, safe and cost-effective modern transportation network by 2035. By then, the city aims to become a major global logistics hub and international transportation center.
The plan introduces the "12312" travel circle and "123" logistics circle, alongside the "10-30-60" transportation service goals.
The “12312” travel circle will ensure 1-hour travel time to major cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, 2-hour access to the eastern, western, and northern regions of Guangdong province, 3-hour travel to major domestic and Southeast Asian cities, 12-hour travel to major global cities.
The "123" logistics circle means deliveries will arrive domestic destinations within 1 day, major cities in neighboring countries within 2 days, major global cities within 3 days.
The “10-30-60” transportation service targets aim to provide 10-minute access to expressway networks, 30-minute access to high-speed rail hubs, and 60-minute access to airport centers.
