Shenzhen cooperates with US on international arbitration
The Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Silicon Valley International Arbitration and Mediation Center to advance China-US international arbitration cooperation and the development of an internationalized business environment and high-level institutional openness.
The President of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, Liu Xiaochun, delivered a welcome speech, sharing the latest developments and rule innovations of international arbitration in the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone of China.
Gary Benton, Chairman of the Silicon Valley Arbitration and Mediation Center, expressed his hope for strengthened cooperation with the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration to promote business exchanges between the San Francisco Bay Area and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Chris Poole, President of the American Arbitration and Mediation Institution, reviewed the longstanding cooperation between the institution and the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and looked forward to further collaboration.
According to the memorandum, the two sides will capitalize on two globally renowned clusters of high-tech enterprises—the Greater Bay Area in China and the San Francisco Bay Area in the US. They will collaborate on joint promotion, training, and provision of trial services, aiming to assist enterprises in preventing and resolving cross-border business disputes.
