Shenzhen issues 40% more certificates of origin under RCEP year on year
In 2023, Shenzhen customs issued a total of 32,200 certificates of origin under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) agreement, marking a significant 40.83% increase compared to the previous year. These certificates were associated with exports valued at 7.32 billion yuan, reflecting a notable 30.43% year-on-year growth.
Shenzhen Customs has implemented self-help services and online application procedures for certificate issuance, streamlining the entire process. Additionally, they have introduced an intelligent verification platform to expedite the issuance timeline.
Since the RCEP agreement came into effect on January 1, 2022, Shenzhen enterprises have strengthened economic cooperation with RCEP member states, reaping the benefits of RCEP policies.
