Shenzhen holds sci-tech education activities to inspire students’ innovation
The seventh Xingzhi Sci-Tech Education Festival and Future City Design Conference opened in Shenzhen on Nov. 11, captivating participants, including educators, students, and parents from across China. The event was jointly organized by the China Association of STEM, the Shenzhen Innovative City Promotion Association, and the Shenzhen Luohu District Institute of Science Education.
During the opening ceremony, Gao Yanyong, secretary of the CPC group and director of the Luohu District Education Bureau, extolled the educational resources within the district and encouraged students to maintain a strong curiosity about the unknown and a deep interest in scientific innovation.
Offering high praise for the event, Li Weifu, president of the Shenzhen Innovative City Promotion Association, expressed that it has the potential to elevate students’ prowess and abilities related to scientific and technological innovation, foster their teamwork spirit, and lay a solid foundation for comprehensive development.
