Shenzhen includes 63 projects in ‘Smart Construction Pilot City’ list
Shenzhen, as a national smart construction pilot city, announced its list of pilot projects for 2023. A total of 63 projects have been selected, according to the Shenzhen Housing and Construction Bureau.
It is reported that nearly 80% of the projects are funded by the government or state-owned funds. These projects cover a wide range of areas, including residential buildings, municipal engineering, rail transportation, and water projects, enabling the multi-scenario application of smart construction technologies. The projects prioritize standardized livelihood programs such as schools, affordable housing, and vertical industrial buildings.
Through the leadership of these pilot projects, the transformation and upgrading of the construction industry will be accelerated, continuously driving the development of smart construction with increased efficiency.
