ISO chairman credits Shenzhen’s standardized operation
Ulrika Francke, chairman of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), commended Shenzhen’s standardized operation across various sectors during her visit to the city from Aug. 29 to 30. The chairman’s inaugural visit to Shenzhen is significant for helping to expedite the city’s ISO standardization initiatives.
Shenzhen has emerged as one of the national leaders in standardized operation, boasting 89 institutions related to the practice. These institutions actively contribute to the research and development of 2,915 ISO standard items and 6,123 domestic standard items.
