Recently, the Guangzhou Nansha Guangdong-Macao Development Promotion Association Service Center held its inauguration ceremony in the Nansha District of Guangzhou, south China's Guangdong province. In the six months since its establishment, the association has prioritized rule alignment and mechanism integration, facilitating deeper cooperation between Nansha, Hong Kong, and Macao.
The association has achieved a series of preliminary outcomes in promoting practical collaboration between Nansha and Hong Kong/Macao, concentrating on areas such as investment promotion, policy research and advocacy, as well as cultural, tourism, and sports exchanges. As the first social organization for Guangdong-Macao cooperation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the association has set a demonstrative example in the operational model, filling institutional gaps in the communication between Nansha and Macao.
The newly inaugurated service center is equipped with the office area, conference zone, multi-functional activity area, and exhibition zone, providing space, resources, and personnel support for business associations dedicated to promoting cooperation between Guangdong and Macao.
