Urban management bureau vows to make Luohu clean and beautiful

Luohu Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau would act according to the requirements of realizing the objective of constructing Luohu as “an all-embracing hub”, was the pledge made by Peng Lidong, chief of the Luohu Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau, during the 8thplenary session of the Luohu District People’s Congress, on Jan 29.

Peng said, this year, the bureau would try to make the district clean, green, beautiful and illuminated.

Landscape engineering, garbage disposal, public toilet improvement, building renovation and landscape lighting were key projects.

Community parks, street gardens, greenways around the Shenzhen Reservoir, landscape engineering near the Renmin South plot and rail transportation projects, flower shows and the modernization of public hygiene facilities and equipment were central to the bureau’s work this year, Peng explained.
