New talent policies unveiled to boost Luohu's core competitiveness
Luohu released a series of revised talent policies to attract professionals from around the world as part of the talent conference Shenzhen Talent Day on Nov. 3.
At the conference, the district government held forums and seminars on the topic and showcased its achievements in talent introduction and services.
According to Cao Shuangxi, chief of the Luohu talent work bureau, creating an enabling and favorable environment for professionals is a priority of the district so that they can enjoy good services and live and work in peace and contentment in the district.
Cao said Luohu plans to raise the overall number of professionals working and living in the district to 400,000 by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-25) period. He added that the new talent policy, which stresses policy supports, subsidies, funding and services, demonstrates Luohu's eagerness to seek talent. The district views professionals as its core competitive advantage.
